WHEW! When Rebecca said she was dipping her toes into the mafia world and creating a new series I had no idea what to expect! It’s very rare that you see an author jump from one side of romance to almost the complete opposite side and Rebecca did it so well! She brought all of the normal steam and hot heroes from her books into the mafia world and created another awesome series! Casino King, the first book in the Carfano Crime Family Series, is full of romance and steamy moments with some crime and mystery that will keep you guessing!

Alec is a hot, over the top, possessive, alpha-type hero. He knows exactly what he wants and he is ready to take it! He is tough as can be, but there are a few moments when you see him soften for Tessa and they were so sweet! I’m obsessed with him and all of the Carfano men! They are such a fierce and mysterious bunch!

Tessa is such a sweet heroine. She doesn’t have the greatest past, but it has shaped her into the strong amazing character she is. Her passion is dance and how freeing it is for her is beautiful. There’s a moment in the book where she completely lets herself go during a dance and you can see the emotion so clearly on the pages. I felt so close to both characters during this moment and it made me feel so much for them.

Alec and Tessa are definitely one of Rebecca’s hottest couples to date! The chemistry and passion that flew off the pages when these two were together were crazy! They have a bit of an instant love/relationship that I was hesitant about at first, but then you slowly see the moments where they are vulnerable with each other that really just gets you. I loved them so much!

I was so excited about this new world from Rebecca and she definitely didn’t disappoint! Casino King was a great debut into the Carfano Crime Family Series. It has a great mix of romance, mystery, suspense, and utter passion and chemistry. I can’t wait to read more in this awesome mafia crime world!
